The host and investor of Shark Tank, KevinO'Learywarned pro-Palestinian student protestors that there will be lots of "consequences for all those people" when they start looking for jobs.

The business reality TV star stated that businesses can employ AI technology to evaluate applications and exclude individuals who have participated in demonstrations.

"Here's your resume with a picture of you burning a flag. See that one. That goes in this pile over here, cause I can get the same person's talent in this pile that's not burning anything," O'Leary told Fox News on Wednesday (May 01).

"There's plenty of consequences for all those people. Even an image that far away, AI can generate who they are bythe waythe body moves. I can't believe the stuff I find in background checks now. These people are screwed," he added.

Speaking further he said, "We see you now. All you need is to have your eyes exposed...and for the rest of your life, you're in THIS pile!" and that "these people are SCREWED!"

In an interview with CNN the same day, O'Leary stated that demonstrators could stillbe identifiedeven if they attempted to conceal their identities by wearing masks.Thisis becausethey can be recognisedvia retinal scanning, he stated.

"This is what's happening with AI. So if you're burning down something, or taking a flag down, or fighting with police, I'm sorry, you're trashing your personal brand," O'Leary told CNN.

Students around the United States are protesting in support of Palestine. Riot police have forced the closure of encampments at many campuses.On April 17, 2024,students atNew York's Columbia University set up tents on a lawn to protest the war in Gaza.Encampments sprang up on over 30 institutions across the United States, including Harvard, Yale, UCLA, and Arizona State University, following the lead of Columbia demonstrators.
