Pro-Palestine protests in US universities have intensifiedwithviolence reported on campuses and over 300 being arrested.In recent days, students have rallied or set upencampments at dozens of universitiesexpressing opposition to Israel's war in Gaza and demanding institutes divest from companies that support Israel's government.
The US on Wednesday (May 1) accusedRussia of having used "the chemical weapon chloropicrin against Ukrainian forces" in violation of the Chemical Weapons Convention. Russia and Ukraine have been at war sinceFebruary 2022. A statement from the US State Departmentalleged that Moscow has also been using "riot control agents (tear gas) as a method of warfare in Ukraine, also in violation of the CWC."
