Celebrity chef and World Central Kitchen (WCK) founder Jose Andres said on Wednesday (Apr 3) that an Israeli attack that killed seven WCK workers in the Gaza Strip had targeted them "systematically, car by car." WCK aid workers from Australia, Canada, Poland, the UK and the US lost their lives along with a Palestinian colleague. Israel called the strike a "grave mistake" and issued an apology.

With search and rescue operations going on in earthquake-ravaged Taiwan, two Indian nationals were reported to be missing by various Indian media outlets. The missing Indians were last spotted at Taroko Gorge, which is close to Hualien County.
