Minnesota is set to cast its votes for the US presidential polls on November 5.
The Minnesota voters will pick electors who will represent them in the Electoral College via a popular vote.
The state has a total of 10 electoral votes in the Electoral College, after reapportionment due to the 2020 United States census in which it neither gained nor lost a seat.

- Claudia De la Cruz and Karina Garcia (Socialism and Liberation Party)
- Rachele Fruit and Dennis Richter (Socialist Workers Party)
- Cornel West and Melina Abdullah (Justice For All Party)
- Shiva Ayyadurai and Crystal Ellis (Independent Party)
Minnesota is considered a moderately blue state as the Democrats hold the longest winning streak.
The last Republican to register a victory was in 1972 when the voters backed incumbent President Richard Nixon.
In the 2020 US Presidential elections, Minnesota supported President Joe Biden, where he defeated Donald Trump by seven percentage points.
In 2016, Hillary Clinton defeated Trump by less than two percentage points registering a very close contest.
These candidates compete for one US Senate seat up for election.

District 3: Tad Jude (Republican Party) and Kelly Morrison (Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party)
District 4: May Lor Xiong (Republican Party) and Betty McCollum (Incumbent - Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party)
District 5: Dalia Al-Aqidi (Republican Party) and Ilhan Omar (Incumbent - Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party)
District 6: Tom Emmer (Incumbent - Republican Party) and Jeanne Hendricks (Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party)
District 7: Michelle Fischbach (Incumbent - Republican Party) and A. John Peters (Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party)
District 8: Pete Stauber (Incumbent - Republican Party and Jennifer Schultz (Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party)
