The United States Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's running mate JD Vance is in a pickle once again. An audio recording of his from October 2021 has been shared by political rival Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris' campaign. In it, Vancecan be heard insulting educators and once again spewing hatred towards "childless" women.
As per reports, Trump's running mate, who was speaking at a forum held by the Center for Christian Virtue, attacked "leaders on the left" and a teacher who did not have children.
Vance targeted Randi Weingarten, the president of the American Federation of Teachers, for not having children.

In the clip, labelled as a testament to "Vance’s vile nature" by Kamala's Wins — an X community supporting Kamala Harris — he can be heard saying that childless people were "brainwashing" the minds of children.
"So many of the leaders of the left, and I hate to be so personal about this, but they’re people without kids trying to brainwash the minds of our children, that really disorients me and disturbs me."

He goes on to slam Weingarten for not having children and says: "Randi Weingarten, who's the head of the most powerful teachers' union in the country, she doesn’t have a single child. If she wants to brainwash and destroy the minds of children, she should have some of her own and leave ours the hell alone."
On X, Weingarten, the president of the American Federation of Teachers, reposted the Vance audio shared by Kamala HQ, calling it "gross".
"Gross! JD Vance's comments are sad and insulting to millions of modern families, and school teachers, including Catholic nuns, none of whom should be targeted for their family decisions," she said.
Previously, Weingarten, when targeted by RepresentativeMarjorie Taylor Greene for not being a mother, had described herself as a "mother by marriage" (similar to Harris herself).
JD Vance's comment has earned him the ire of netizens, who have slammed him for his "offensive" and "disrespectful views on women".
One user commented, "How dare JD Vance insult teachers who don't have children. Teachers dedicate their lives to enriching the lives of their students."
How dare JD Vance insult teachers who don't have children. Teachers dedicate their lives to enriching the lives of their students. Some have children, and others don't for various reasons. And as Tim Walz would say, "Mind your own damn business." #HarrisWalz2024 — Gayle M. Tiller (@gayle_tiller) August 28, 2024
Another user commented that JD Vance's obsession with other people having kids was "creepy".
