Furious over missing chicken, woman hits fast-food joint manager with her car

Awoman in the United Statesran over the manager of a fast-food restaurant aftershe got furious over a missing chicken strip and dipping sauce. The incident took placein the US state of Missouri, when the woman, identified as Talanye L Carter, 41, allegedly ran over the manager of aJack in the Box restaurant in St Louis, according to a media report.

The incident, which happened on July 16, recently came to light on social media after a probable cause affidavit was submitted to St Louis Circuit Court.

Carter reportedly went to the restaurant, complaining about a missing chicken strip from her order. In response, the manager replacedthe missing chicken strip. However, the 41-year-old got furious with the lack of ranch provided at the eatery andshe spit in the store manager’s face, Fox News reported.

After Carter left the eatery she went to her car. Meanwhile, the restaurant manager escaped from a different exit to note her licence plate number. The41-year-old womannoticed and ran up to the store manager, then proceeded to physically run into their shoulder.

According to the police, Carter questionedthe manager, "You're trying to get charges put on me?"

Carter then went back to her vehicle, put her car in reverse, and backed into the store manager, as per the police. The vehicle hit the manager's left foot and ankle and knocked her to the ground.

The St Louis Circuit Attorney's Office has chargedthe 41-year-old woman with second-degree assault and fourth-degree assault. Sheis currently being held without bond and is awaiting a detention hearing scheduled for July 30, with a subsequent court date set for August 20.

Similar altercations have occurred across the United States, often involving customers' dissatisfaction with service or additional charges for extra items.

In a separateincident from Wisconsin, a Little Caesars worker was attacked after closing time by customers upset about their pizza order.
