Eunice Gayson the first bond girl of famous James Bond series died at the age of 90.
She was starred as Sylvia Trench as the love interest of Sean Connery in the 1962 film 'Dr No'.
The announcement was posted on her official Twitter handle today (June 9) at 4:30 pm.
"We are very sad to learn that our dear Eunice passed away on June 8th. An amazing lady who left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She will be very much missed," the post reads.
The producers of James Bond franchise, Michael G Wilson and Barabara Brocoli also paid tribute to the veteran in a separate comment posted on the official James Bond Twitter handle.
Further details regarding her death are not known yet.

Eunice Gayson is famously known for her part in the classic scene in which the British spy delivers his iconic line "Bond, James Bond" for the first time.
Over a game of cards, Sylvia first introduces herself in the scene as Bond asks for her name, to which she replied Trench, Sylvia Trench. She thencontinues by saying that "I admire your luck, mr.."
"Bond, James Bond," Connery replies.
According to media reports, in one of her interviews, she revealed she was the one who assisted Connery in that particular dialogue delivery.
She helpedConnery calm down by taking him out for few drinks.
Gayson was the only actress to play Bond girl in two films.
Born in 1928 in Surrey she is also known for her roles in 'The Revenge of Frankenstein' and 'The Avengers'.
