Warner Bros. released a new trailer for Steven Spielberg's science fiction film "Ready Player One" in a Facebook Live on Sunday.
The movie is based onErnie Cline’s debut novel, "Ready Player One" which is set in a dystopian world where everyone spends a majority of their time in a virtual reality system known as OASIS. The OASIS offers its visitors an entry into any conceivable world -- thus infusing a lot of 80spop cultural references.
The trailer opens with Wade Watts (played by "The Tree of Life"/ "X-Men: Apocalypse"star Tye Sheridan) explaining he got his name because his father thought it sounded like a superhero name. He then tells the viewers that people like staying in OASIS as they can be whatever they want to in it.
Warner Bros. also released a poster for the film, taken from the novel's paperback cover along with the trailer.
The first look of the movie premiered at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year.
The movie is set to release on March 30 next year.
