She wrote:"sooo does anyone else not open Snapchat anymore? Or is it just me... ugh this is so sad."

Following the tweet, Snapchat's parent companySnap Inc lost some $1.3 billion in market value. Snap Inc.'s shares tanked by over six per cent in Thursday trading, a loss of about $1.3 billion in market capitalization.

She continued tweeting and soon wrote how she loves the platform, but by then the damage was already done.
