Hollywood’s favourite bachelor Hugh Grant is finally ready to settle down and within a few weeks’ time will be married to longtime partner Anna Eberstein.
For those wondering, Anna is a 39-year-old Swedish TV producer who has been spotted on several occasions with Hugh while taking a stroll on the streets or while posing on the red carpet. The couple shares three children, with the first of them being born in 2012.
He has two other children with former partner Tinglan Hong, totalling five. Hugh was linked with former partner Liz Hurley for the longest time before the two called it quits and have remained friends since.
This will be the first marriage for Four Weddings and a Funeral star.
Surprised friends of the couple expressed their excitement on the news with one being quoted by a leading UK tabloid: "This is a day none of Hugh's friends ever thought would come. He will soon be a pensioner and has finally become a family man.” The wedding is to take place in the coming weeks.
The British actor came to the news when his phone was hacked by some reporters and was offered a six-figure compensation earlier this year.
He is currently working on TV series A Very English Scandal in which he plays the role of British politician Jeremy Thorpe, who was tried in 1979 for conspiring to murder his boyfriend.
