Watch: Man shares terrifying flying experience in 'one of the most dangerous flights'

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), which was banned by the European Union (EU) in 2020, is making headlines once againafter avideo sharing the experience of flying in this terrifying airlinewent viral on social media.

The airline was banned after concerns were raised over the ability of Pakistan to ensure compliance with international aviation standards.

Now, a Pakistani man took to Instagram recently to share what it is like to travel with Pakistan International Airlines.

Social media user Ali Khan shared a video which showed the PIA's terrifying conditions and his experience on "one of the most dangerous flights in the world." In a caption of his post, he asked his followers, "Would you fly on this route?"

At the beginningof the video, Khan is seen boarding the flight and immediately being informed by the cabin crew that he does not have permission to record anything during the flight.

After reaching his seat, the Instagram user shows dust-filled gaps on the chair, an overhead bin that was duct-taped and an almost broken seat handle.

As the video continued, Khan called the pilot interactive and said that the passengers were informed about Skardu.

"Pakistan has a troubled reputation in the world...It doesn't help when your national carrier is also banned from an entire continent. But I decided to go on a PIA flight for the first time in over a decade to go to the Northern Areas of Pakistan. An absolute bucket list location for me. I'm so excited to take y'all with me," wrote Khan, in the caption of the post.

The video was posted on August 9 and soon went viral by garnering more than 700,000 views.

"Pakistan Airlines? I would never even consider, let alone get anywhere near one of their planes," wrote another user.

"I flew PIA in 1988 from Rome to Malé stopover in Athens and changing planes in Karachi. On the way back, we flew from Karachi on a 747 with only three motors over 4. We discovered it when the plane had to land in Dubai for reparation. They actually didn't so we stop in Athens for good. Man, what a journey!" wrote Instagram user Cristiano Masi.

"I've flown to Gilgit with PIA to Gilgit just a little further North, so pretty much the same route. It's one of the most beautiful flights in the world but there have been so many plane crashes along that mountain corridor!" wrote a user.

"The airline is good. The duct tape can hold the whole plane," commented another. "Duck tape all airlines use, everyone should carry some with them while travelling," wrote a user.
