Turkish shooter Yusuf Dikec, who went viral for his shooting style, as he clinched a silver medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics, debuted on social media platform X and soon posed an interesting question toowner Elon Musk.

Dikec clinched the second position in the mixed team 10-metre air pistol eventwhile partnering with Sevval Ilayda Tarhan.

However, Dikec went viral and his fanbase grew tremendously because of his casual shooting style.

When he came to the shoot during the competition, he appeared very casual and wore standard glasses and a T-shirt, while keeping his left hand in the pocket. This look made him a viral sensation overnight as people wondered how confident he was to carry such a demeanour.

His approach was pretty unorthodox as unlike his competitors, who generally used specialised equipment like special lenses, hats or headphones, Dikec carried nothing and went to the competition in a minimalist style.

Exchange between Turkish shooter and Musk goes viral

After joining social media platform X, Olympic shooter Dikec wrote his first post for the owner Elon Musk.

Posting a photo from the Olympic event - that had soon turned into a popular meme, Dikec said, "Hi Elon, do you think future robots can win medals at the Olympics with their hands in their pockets? How about discussing this in Istanbul, the cultural capital that unites continents? @elonmusk."

"Robots will hit the centre of the bullseye every time," replied Musk. The exchange between the duo has now gone viral on social media.
