This Indian-origin tycoon just married an ex-WWE wrestler in a lavish ceremony with pyramids in backdrop

Ankur Jair, the billionaire founder of the United States-based company Bilt Rewards, tied the knot with ex-WWE Erika Hammond in a lavish Egyptian wedding. The couple shared a glimpse of their extravagant wedding on social media. Renowned Egyptologist Dr Zahi Hawas officiated the wedding in the presence of 130 guests against the backdrop of the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Jain's fascination with the ancient history of Egypt sparked the choice of their wedding location.

The couple opted for a unique and historic setting. "We're New Yorkers and there's something so special about being in a completely different world environment," he toldPeople. "So, we decided our wedding is about having a moment together to celebrate the new beginning, having a special party with our friends somewhere where you're in a different world," Hammond added.

They hosted a lavish wedding reception with the theme "Modern Cairo" at the Muhammad Ali Palace, featuring belly dancers. They also arranged a private tour of the pyramids and a gala dinner at the Grand Egyptian Museum, followed by the main ceremony.

Ankur Jain and Erika Hammod's parents walked them down the aisle during the wedding. Jain wore a black tuxedo with a crisp white shirt and a bow tie, while Hammond stunned in a gown from Indian designer Rahul Mishra's collection. It featured intricate gold embellishments and a long trail, blending Indian and Egyptian fusion.

Even the pre-wedding celebrations were lavish, including a $2,000-a-night three-night safari in South Africa. "My first pitch to Erika for the wedding was to get married in space," said Jain, who met Erika at Rumble boxing. They chose a non-traditional wedding with no bridesmaid and no cake. Their guest list included prominent figures like Lance Bass and Michael Turchin, Robin Thicke and April Love Geary, Kevin O'Leary and Linda O'Leary, influencer Serena Kerrigan, former Texas governor Rick Perry and Anita Perry, and Brian Kelly.

"We had the best time. It was so special. When the fireworks went off, it was one of the most spectacular moments. I was so emotional, I couldn't even put it into words," Jain said about his wedding. He wrote in an Instagram post, "Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us!!! And to @zahi_hawass for marrying us!!
