Gone are the days of 'basic' AI abilities, like writing love letters, poems, and emails, or cracking a joke. ChatGPT's newly introduced advanced ability can turn text into video. The feature which will be launching next week will allow for the possibility of text-to-video generation. The new ability will be launched as part of GPT-4, a new "more powerful and versatile" update of GPT 3.5, which as per tech website Stuff is ChatGPT's large language model. The update was announced by Andreas Braun, Chief Technology Officer of Microsoft Germany, at the 'AI in Focus — Digital Kickoff' held on March 4. Microsoft is the largest investor in OpenAI, the company behind the popular Chatbot.

As per reports, the model is expected to be multimodal, i.e., it will include capabilities beyond just text, and will include images and videos.

The definition of ‘utopia’ is different for different people. When you're rich you don't need to look for it, you can just make your own utopia. This is what billionaire Elon Musk is doing. As per reports, the Twitter, and Tesla CEO, is planning to set up his own town just outside of Austin, Texas. A Wall Street Journal (WSJ) report citing land records and deeds reveals that it will be located along the Colorado River.

What will Elon Musk do with a whole town?

The report claims that this new town will serve as housing for Austin-area employees of Musk's companies: Tesla, SpaceX and The Boring Company.

Watch | What explains the sky-high valuation of Tesla and brand Elon Musk?

What will the town be called?

Reportedly, the town will not be called 'Elonland', 'Muskville' or even be named after the billionaire. Rather, it will be named 'Snailbrook' after The Boring Company's mascot — Gary the Snail.

Streets in the town will have names like 'Boring Boulevard', 'Waterjet Way' and 'Cutterhead Crossing'. These names have reportedly been approved by Bastrop County officials in county meetings.

Where will it be located?

Snailbrook as per the WSJ report will be situated around 35 miles from Austin, in Bastrop County.

Executives at the Boring Co. have reportedly discussed and researched, incorporating the town there. However, so far, the county hasn't received any applications from them.

Over the last four years, Elon Musk's companies have purchased 3,500 acres in the Austin area. This is equal to land four times the size of New York's massive Central Park. This figure is based on county deeds and other land records.

Citing local real-estate and land officials, WSJ says that the size of the land the Twitter CEO owns might actually be more — as much as 6,000 acres.

Why would Musk's employees leave their houses and move there?

The housing in Snailbrook will be available to Elon Musk's employees at reduced rents.

Starting last year, Boring employees could apply for cheaper homes with rents starting from just $800 a month for two or three-bedroom houses. This is around three times cheaper than the current market rate.

Currently, the average rent in Bastrop, Texas, as per real-estate listing company Zillow Group Inc stands at around $2,200 a month.

What about the employees' families?

They will, of course, be permitted to reside in Snailbrook. As per the WSJ report, the Boring Company even plans to convert a home on the property into a Montessori school for as many as 15 students.

What do we know about its design?

Given the businessman's flair for innovation, it for sure won't be just some boring town. Work at the site has already begun, and it will house modular homes, a pool and an outdoor sports area so the employees can stay fit.

Reportedly, Musk, his former girlfriend Grimes and Kanye West a.k.a Ye last year had several discussions over what the town might look like.

So, when do they move in?

Most probably as soon as the construction is done.

The billionaire may even have plans to have the town incorporated. But, before Musk can apply for incorporation or charter from the state, Snailbrook will need at least 201 residents and a county judge's approval.

Bastrop County, as per its spokesperson, is yet to receive an application from Musk or any of his entities.

Once Snailbrook gets incorporated, it will legally be allowed to have its own elected officials, and make its own rules.

Why did Elon Musk choose Texas?

Before Texas, California was Musk's home. However, the billionaire left his longtime home some two years back. His companies, Tesla and The Boring Company, also had their headquarters moved from California to Texas.

This, as per a 2021 statement by the Tesla CEO, is because California is the land of "overregulation, overlitigation, overtaxation".

Will the billionaire live in Snailbrook?

Yes, the report citing 'people familiar with the plans' claims that the plans for Snailbrook include a project to build a private residential compound for Musk.

However, this private compound won't be located within the rest of the employee housing. It'll be at some distance from the planned town.

Texas, as per WSJ, has "fewer zoning laws and environmental and labour requirements, and has vast swaths of loosely regulated land". Additionally, Texas does not impose corporate income tax or income or capital gains taxes on individuals.

Even as the plans and construction for Snailbrook town progress at breakneck speed, residents of the area aren't too happy. David Barrow, who runs a farm in Bastrop, is worried the new projects could threaten the Colorado River's water quality.

His worries may be justified. Recently, the Boring Company applied for a permit from Texas state environmental authorities. This permit seeks to discharge up to 140,000 gallons of industrial wastewater a day into the Colorado River.

"I would like to know what is actually being sprayed, what they’re actually building, and who is going to hold them accountable," says the farmer.

Adena Lewis, the county’s director of tourism and economic development, however, says she has no concerns that the company's development could harm the river or surrounding farmland. Despite this, after being approached by the county's farmers, State Senator Sarah Eckhardt requested a public environmental hearing.

"We’re going to need to have more of a conversation and be able to verify the assertions that these companies are making with regard to the discharge permit into the Colorado River," she said. The hearing is scheduled for this month.

As Saudi Arabia and the UAE compete for more money and power in the region, the rift between the allies seems to be growing. Oil and Yemen issues are reportedly major points of contention between Riyadh and Abu Dhabi even though both nations are tight-lipped about their differences.

To make matters worse, Al-Ittihad fans mocked him further with 'Messi, Messi' chants.
Lionel Messi is a legend of the game. The Argentine skipper's trophy cabinet eluded a FIFA World Cup title before his dream came true in the showpiece event in Qatar. In the Qatar World Cup, Argentina had a disastrous start losing to Saudi Arabia in their opening clash before being unbeaten from thereon to life the title, beating France in an epic finale. Thus, the seven-time Ballon d'or award winner Messi's cabinet now comprises both the Copa America and FIFA World Cup trophy along with plethora of domestic trophies.

Messi's rivalry with Cristiano Ronaldo has been talked about for quite some time. However, he also enjoys a healthy competition with Frenchman Kylian Mbappe. In the Argentina vs France FIFA WC final, in Qatar, while Messi-led side walked away with the title, Mbappe won hearts with his performance; scoring a treble. Messi also scored twice but youngster Mbappe ended with a three strikes. Thus, the two Paris-Saint Germain (PSG) teammates share a good relation off the field and also a healthy rivalry on the ground.

India and Australia locked horns on Day 1 of the fourth and final Test, in Ahmedabad, on Thursday (March 9). After Steve Smith-led Aussies opted to bat first, the visitors ended the day at 255 for 4 with Usman Khawaja remaining unbeaten on 104*. The day belonged to Australia as they batted consciously and Indian bowlers were made to work hard for every wicket. Eventually, Md Shami ended the opening day with two scalps whereas R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja shared a wicket each.

Shami got both the wickets by cleaning up the stumps. Firstly, he got rid of Marnus Labuschagne before also claiming the scalp of Peter Handscomb. Talking about Handscomb's dismissal, Shami hit the deck on a good length and the ball straightened off the deck. The batter was caught on the back foot and completely got beaten to see his stumps get rattled. Here's the video of the dismissal:

After Handscomb's fall, there was no further breakthrough for Team India. Rohit & Co. struggled to break Khawaja-Cameron Green's fifth-wicket stand. The duo stitched 85 runs go take Australia's score to 255 for 4 at stumps on Day 1. After stumps, Khawaja told the broadcasters, "A lot of emotion in that. Has been a long journey, getting a hundred, as an Australian you always want to do that. It's very special. Head took the new ball down. He was smacking them. Was pretty good to watch that from the other end. It was such a nice wicket, I didn't want to give my wicket away. It was a mental battle more than anything else. You need to keep doing it for a long time. I had the helmet in my right hand, I told him (Green) just me a hug, instead of a high five (following his century). I have no superstitions, I stretched a bit in the morning and I was ready to go."

Rohit & Co. will hope for quick wickets on Day 2, on Friday (March 10), to restrict the Aussies below 320. At present, it looks a herculean task for the hosts. India lead the series 2-1 and need a win to not only take the 2022/23 Border-Gavaskar Trophy 3-1 and enter the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final.

Abandoned while snorkelling in Hawaii, couple sues tour company for $5 million

The inaugural Women's Premier League (WPL) 2023 edition is off to a flier. In the third game, held at the DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai, Uttar Pradesh Warriorz (UP-W) edged past Gujarat Giants (GG-W) by three wickets in pursuit of 170 to open their campaign in style. After the Sneh Rana-led Gujarat franchise posted a challenging 169 for 6, opting to bat first, the Alyssa Healy-led side were on the mat after being reduced to 105 for 7 in 15.4 overs. Nonetheless, Grace Harris and Sophie Ecclestone's unbeaten 70-run stand took their side home in a thrilling last-over finish.

The equation looked improbable for UP-W after the end of the 17th over. Back then, they required 53 off 18 balls. Harris took on Gujara'ts best bowler Kim Garth, who had already claimed a five-fer by then, and led the charge in UP's revival. She found the gaps effectively and slammed as many as three boundaries whereas Ecclestone also chipped in with a solitary four to bring down the equation considerably. Here's the viral video of the duo's stunning onslaught:

Heart disease is often considered an old man's disease, but a recent uptick in the number of young people dying of heart attacks has busted this myth. From a 22-year-old groom who died in the middle of his wedding ceremony to the 16-year-old who died while playing cricket, the headlines these days are unfortunately scattered with mentions of cardiac attacks. It can happen to any person, whatever their age. So, is there anything we can do to identify if we are at risk? According to a cardiologist at a leading New York city cardiology hospital, there are five unexpected signs that you or someone you know may be at risk of developing heart disease.

Writing for Daily Mail, Dr Deepak Bhatt, a cardiologist at New York's Mount Sinai hospital, says that the signs are generally subtle. He asserts that common problems like anxiety, fatigue and limb pain could actually be a sign of something much more serious.

Let's take a look at the signs you need to be wary of:

Anxiety

These days, given the schedule and lifestyle we keep, almost everyone feels anxious. However, as per Bhatt, this could point to underlying heart problems.

As per him, anxiety and heart disease generally come hand in hand, constant uneasiness can damage the heart over time.

"It's hard to know which came first. It's a chicken or egg situation," he says.

A 2015 study by Harvard University researchers found that anxiety increases the risk of coronary artery disease (CAD) turning fatal by 21 per cent.

Sweating

Think profuse, excess sweating. This can be due to your heart working overtime to pump blood through blocked passageways. The cardiologist warns that sudden profuse sweating, "especially when a person is not taking part in any physical activity, could be one of the first signs of a heart attack."

Leg pain

Many of us might consider this a side-effect of getting older, but even this could be an unexpected signal for heart disease.

Tingling and pain in the legs are actually major symptoms. It happens due to Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD). As per Daily Mail, this condition happens when "arteries in the legs become narrow and blocked by the build-up of plaque".

Bhatt says that "even doctors don't think about it."

"If a person suffers pain, numbness or tingling in the legs while walking, and then it suddenly stops when they take a moment of rest, it could be time to go to the doctor," he adds.

Fatigue

Getting tired at the end of the day is normal, but chronic fatigue isn't.

"Fatigue is a tough one," says Bhatt, "it's a very non-specific symptom. Most fatigue is not due to heart disease, maybe just a bad night's sleep."

However, if you are suffering from chronic, constant fatigue, it might be time to see a doctor.

Stomach problems

People suffering from heart disease often report stomach and digestion issues, which get worse as the cardiovascular condition worsens.

Sudden and sharp pain, usually in the upper right portion of a person's stomach, could point to heart disease. This often comes with sudden, significant weight loss.

While these signs may be innocuous for the majority of people, if they are accompanied by giveaway symptoms like chest tightening or are happening to a person with a history of heart disease, seeking medical help is the right way to go.

During his 24th six, Umesh lit up the Indian dressing room when he swept Todd Murphy and sent the ball into the stands. Here's how Kohli reacted to Umesh's big hit:

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has shared a breathtaking video of India as seen from space. The footage has been captured by the International Space Station (ISS) which has been in Earth's orbit since 1998. The captivating video was captured as the space station was travelling from the northwest to the eastern coast on Monday. It tracks a path through Bhiwani, Gwalior, and Jhansi, among several other cities. "Check out this lovely long Space Station pass over India from earlier today—starting in the NW crossing the country to the east coast.
A temple in the southern Indian state of Kerala has taken a revolutionary step by introducing a robot elephant to do religious rituals. This move towards holding religious events in a "cruelty-free manner" comes after years of concerns by animal activists. As per a BBC report, the mechanical robot has been donated to the Irinjadappilly Sree Krishna Temple in Thrissur district by People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India and actress Parvathy Thiruvothu. The robot, which is made of an iron frame, is 11 feet tall and weighs 800 kg. The initiative is reportedly part of a pledge to stop using live animals for festivities.

Animal welfare organisations have for years flagged the "cruel" treatment temple animals face. Just last week, the Centre for Research on Animal Rights wrote to Kerala's chief minister regarding the increasing mortality of captive elephants in the state.

February 10 marked the second anniversary of China's ambitious Tianwen 1 mission — which also happens to be the nation's first interplanetary mission. Amid the celebration, one voice remained silent, that of China's Zhurong Mars rover, which was sent to the surface of the red planet as part of Beijing's Tianwen 1 mission. The Chinese rover has been in "hibernation" for months. It was supposed to wake up back in December of last year. However, almost two months later, its slumber still continues. Last month, a report expressed hope that Zhurong would come out of its sleep, but recent images from NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter show that it hasn't changed its position for five months.

A fresh survey of Japan's territory has yielded 7,000 new islands. As per Kyodo News, after the Japanese government's first official survey of its territorial waters since 1987, the official number of Japan's islands is expected to double from 6,852 to 14,125, with the addition of 7,272 new islands.

The new survey which was conducted by the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan will not increase the nation's territory. Rather, it would, as per the NY Post, give officials a more accurate picture of Japan's territory.

Why did Japan conduct this survey after more than 30 years?

This, as per Kyodo News, was apparently spurred by a member of Japan's ruling Liberal Democratic Party. In December 2021, the party member told the nation's Parliament that there was a need for an accurate understanding of the number of islands because the data was old and not updated. According to them, it was an "important administrative matter that is related to the national interest."

As per Lifestyle Asia, the survey actually detected over 100,000 islands. However, only those with a circumference of 100 metres or higher were taken into account.

Now, the Japanese government will soon come up with more accurate figures of the country's terrain. The latest number of islands will also have to be updated on all official documents and textbooks, etc. As per the current estimates, Japan, a country with an estimated population of around 124,840,000, has a land mass of around 146,000 square miles.

In Japan, a country regularly subjected to volcanic activity and extreme weather, the discovery of new islands isn't that surprising; previously, geographers have reported the formation of new islands and the disappearance of others.

India have been on a roll on the opening day of the second Test, in New Delhi, versus Australia. After being asked to bowl first, India accounted for three scalps in the first session.
Most of us look forward to retiring. Many people plan forward for the big event. They plan a life of comfort and ease, when they can just lie around and in slang terms "just chill". However, for this 93-year-old professor, age is just a number and retirement is an alien concept. For this India-based scholar, Chilukuri Santhamma, Physics is a passion and teaching is her purpose in life, one which she continues to pursue even at her advanced age. Santhamma, who was born in the southeastern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh on March 8, 1929, retired in 1989 at the age of 60. However, even after her retirement, she chose to continue teaching and now has been inspiring young minds for seven decades.

AI comes up with 40,000 toxic chemicals in 6 hours; scientists warn could be used to make biological weapons

In recent days, ChatGPT has been everywhere. People have used it to write valentine's day poems for their beaus, used it for their assignments, scholarly papers and in a very surprising twist, even used it to come up with potential bio-weapons. But amid all the fuss around this Artificial Intelligence powered chat, a section of the internet has also pointed to a bias this alleged "woke" chatbot holds. Several users have taken to social media sites to shine the spotlight on what Daily Mail calls ChatGPT's "distinctly liberal viewpoint." Apparently, the chatbot would rather let millions die due to a nuclear attack than use a racial slur. This doesn't seem like a bad thing, but as per tech genius, Twitter CEO Elon Musk, this is concerning. Confused? Here's what happened.

A Twitter user, Aaron Sibarium, who is a reporter, and a podcaster, posed to the chatbot a moral dilemma. He painted a scenario where a person held in their hand the power to save millions from a nuclear attack but to do this; they have to use a racial slur.
