<p>Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha was seen in India for the first time in months amid the party crisis, which began after Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) followed by the ongoing <a href="https://www.wionews.com/india-news/swati-maliwal-assault-case-delhi-cm-arvind-kejriwals-aide-bibhav-kumar-detained-by-police-722744">Swati Maliwal assault case</a>&nbsp;saga.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The investigating agency arrested Kejriwal in a case pertaining to alleged corruption and money laundering in formulating and executing the Delhi government's excise policy.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The arrest led to chaos in India's capital with AAP members and supporters protesting against the action by ED just a few days before the polling began for the <a href="https://www.wionews.com/lok-sabha-election-2024">Lok Sabha Election</a>.&nbsp;</p>

<p>However, during the demonstrations, Chadha's absence was noticed by the opposition as well as the media. He was missing from the party's campaigning for the general election.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Last month, Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj said that Chadha has undergone major eye surgery in the United Kingdom and will join the party's Lok Sabha poll campaigning once he is better. He added that the MP had developed a serious eye ailment which could have led to blindness.&nbsp;</p>

‘Could’ve lost eyesight’: Reason behind Raghav Chadha’s striking absence amid party crisis

<p>The Aam Aadmi Party has appointed its MP Raghav Chadha as the leader of the party in Rajya Sabha in place of Sanjay Singh, sources said.</p>

<p>In a letter to the Rajya Sabha Chairman, the AAP party leadership has said that in the absence of Sanjay Singh, who has "health issues", Raghav Chadha will henceforth be the party's leader in the upper house.</p>

<p>AAP MP Sanjay Singh is currently behind bars in the Delhi liquor policy case.</p>

<p>Sources in the Rajya Sabha secretariat confirmed that a letter has been received from AAP regarding appointing Chadha as its floor leader.</p>

<p>The letter is with the RS Secretary General for implementation.</p>

<p>Chadha is one of the youngest members of Rajya Sabha. The AAP has a total of 10 MPs in the Upper House currently.</p>

<p>AAP has the fourth largest strength in Rajya Sabha after the BJP, the Congress and the TMC.</p>

Parineeti and Raghav tied the knot in a dreamy wedding ceremony on 24 Sept&nbsp;in Udaipur, Rajasthan. After taking the internet by storm with their adorable wedding photos, the newlyweds have been continuously sharing an inside glimpse of the wedding.</p>

<p>On Thursday (12 Oct), the <em>Isaqzaade </em>actress shared a carousel of breathtaking pictures from their Haldi ceremony, filled with love, laughter, and lots of kisses.</p>

<p>D-Day is here! Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha are set to tie the knot on Sunday, September 24. The pre-wedding festivities started on Saturday, followed by the main wedding ceremony that will take place at Udaipur's ultra-luxurious hotel, The Leela Palace.</p>

<p>The couple will get hitched in the grand wedding ceremony in the midst of picturesque Lake Pichola.</p>

<p>The bride-to-be, Parineeti, and groom-to-be, Raghav, landed in Udaipur on Friday morning. Their families&nbsp;have&nbsp;already reached the venue, however, the guest is still arriving.</p>

<p>On Saturday, the wedding festivities kicked off with the Haldi ceremony on Saturday morning at The Leela Palace, followed by the Sangeet ceremony in the evening.</p>

<p>"I challenge the BJP to show the papers that have the forged signatures as alleged by them. The Parliamentary Bulletin on complaints against me has no mention of forgery, fake signatures," Chadha said and added that the BJP was "trying to suppress his voice".&nbsp;</p>
