After CSK's last home game in the league stage, Dhoni &amp; Co. took a lap around the ground for their ardent fans who have turned up in large numbers at the Chepauk this season. The main reason for CSK fans coming to the stadium was that they believe this will be Dhoni's last IPL season.

In this regard, former Indian batter Mohammed Kaif feels the ex-Indian captain is surely playing his last IPL edition and he has dropped enough hints as well.

"I think MSD has given enough hints that this is his last IPL. He's keeping the world guessing and that's been his nature. But I have this intuition that Dhoni will not be playing the IPL next year," Kaif said while speaking on Star Sports' Cricket Live.

"We should see how Narine and Russell have performed in the last three years, or how many match-winning performances they have put in with bat or ball," Yusuf told ESPNcricinfo.

"As a team, what do you think? If you want to look ahead to the future and go to the next level, then you should surely think about it, because if you look at the last few seasons, their performance hasn't been as good. As a senior player, there are expectations from you that you would get wickets or runs. If you are not able to do it, then you will have to face the questions," the former all-rounder added.

Sharing concerns over their form this season that saw KKR going down in their quest of reaching the playoffs, Yusuf said age has nothing to do with their mediocre run as most players of the same age are also playing and doing well.

"I don't think age should be a factor, because there are others of similar age who are still playing, and are performing well too. Plus, both of them play around the year. I feel if you are playing the entire year, then your body is in good shape,” Yusuf added.&nbsp;

There were chants of 'Kohli, Kohli' as well by the crowd in an apparent dig at Gautam Gambhir who recently had a scuffle with Virat Kohli in LSG vs RCB match.

SRH batsman Klassen, however, didn't condone the crowd's action and said that it broke the momentum of batting as well. "Disappointed with the crowd to be honest, that’s not what you want. That also broke the momentum, not great umpiring either," said the batsman during his mid-match interview.

As for the match, LSG&nbsp;chased down a target of 183 in 19.2 overs and seven wickets left, thanks to Prerak Mankad who hit unbeaten 64 off 45 balls and Nicholas Pooran who scored a fiery unbeaten 13-ball 44.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have established an iron grip for a place in the playoff after they beat hosts Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by seven wickets at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Saturday, May 13. Superb innings from Prerak Mankad (64) and Nicholas Pooran’s quickfire 44 saw LSG run out winners, which thereby ended SRH’s chances of making the playoffs.

On the third ball of the 19th over, an Avesh Khan delivery was deemed to be a no-ball after the umpire thought that the ball had crossed the waist height. However, upon review by LSG, the third umpire overturned the decision and gave it as a fair ball. This caused anger among the SRH players and the fans, while batter Abdul Samad was not happy with the decision and went to the square leg umpire for a justification of the overturned decision.

The crowd had enough of the decision and targeted the LSG bench and the dugout with abusive language while coach Flower remained a focal target.

Soon the umpires to stopped the play and rushed to the dugout and had to calm the crowd to stop them from showing their anger. After a 20-25 minutes delay, the match started again and saw no further trouble on the authority and administration.

"I spoke with Brian Lara about batting for a few hours which was really insightful. At this stage of my career and where I am as a player, I feel like that is where I am going to learn the most, by picking people’s brains and thinking about what I can add to my own game and taking it forward into the next few years," Root told Daily Mirror, as quoted in India Today.

With the home Ashes approaching in around a month, Root will want to be on the top of his game; and following interactions with masters of their game in Lara and Kumar, the ex-English captain is likely to benefit from it.

"You come here and try to develop parts of your white ball game, and to be around T20 cricket has been amazing, but to get the chance to speak about Test cricket with Lara and Kumar Sangakkara and other current players is invaluable," Root added.

Though just being around the legends of this game helped a lot of cricketers over time, and Root is no different. It’s about time before he will get his moment in this tournament with the bat in hand.

Samson also missed out on a fifty but made sure RR won the contest by nine wickets as they chased the target down in 13.1 overs. The win helped RR improve its Net Run Rate (NRR) while also boosting its chances of making the final four.

For KKR, Venkatesh Iyer played a fighting knock of 57 runs after early hiccups, while Nitish Rana slammed 22 runs. Opted to field first, Rajasthan got off to a blistering start as Trent Boult dismissed Jason Roy who is in good form in the season. Roy went back to the pavilion after scoring just 10 runs.

Roy's wicket invited left-handed batter Venkatesh Iyer to the crease. Rahmanullah Gurbaz in the third over thumped Sandeep Sharma for 15 runs with the help of two back-to-back sixes.

However, Gurbaz's stay at the crease was cut short as Boult provide his team with another breakthrough in the 5th over of the game.

In the 19th over of the game, Chahal then removed Rinku Singh for 16 runs. Sunil Narine then came out to bat. In the final over Sandeep Sharma then removed Narine for 6 to restrict KKR to 149/8 in 20 overs.
