John Krasinski is ready to spread some cheer ahead of holidays as he is back with a special episode of his hit web show ‘Some Good News’ that first made a splash at the start of the pandemic as he collated good news from around the world and shared with his fans on his DIY show.&nbsp;

Now, with Christmas around the corner, he has brought a holiday episode of Some Good News. He started with: "Now if you’re like me, this is without a doubt, as the song says, the most wonderful time of the year. It was until I logged back onto the internet," and then he showed a drawing that seemed to resemble Justin Timberlake as opposed to John Krasinski to which he said was a "not-so-subtle hint" from the internet "that it would prefer to have this show hosted by one Justin Timberlake."&nbsp;

John Krasinski continued the show by sharing heartfelt stories including one of someone purchasing an apartment for his friend Robin, who had been living on the streets for over 20 years, and celebrating that the first vaccines have been delivered. "So goodbye 2020, and here’s to a much, much happier new year."

John Krasinski also got his Hollywood friends including George Clooney to give an update on the weather while those who remember, Brad Pitt served as the show's "weatherman" in a previous episode.&nbsp;

For his final segment, called “Parents That Rock!", Krasinski welcomed a widowed father of two, Jay Abel, who lost his wife years ago and was selling his comic book merchandise on eBay to help pay for his kids' Christmas gifts.

"I think your story is my favorite story this holiday season. It is just like super dad stuff," Krasinski told Abel. The actor also told Abel that he tried to purchase his items but his transaction was canceled. "Did you cancel my order because you thought I was a creep?" Krasinski asked. "I thought you were a scammer, yes," Abel responded laughing.

Dwayne Johnson then joined Krasinski on the show dressed in a "Dwanta Clause" costume to ask Abel how he could be of help. Johnson also said Abel’s tweet to him moved him because he simply asked for a retweet of his eBay store link.

"I thought Dwanta Clause can do better than a retweet," Johnson told him. "I want you to take all of your stuff off of eBay, because Dwanta Clause is going to take care of all of that stuff, man," Johnson said after hearing the man’s story.

The actor, however, admits he would have reacted differently. 
 
"I wouldn’t have done it that big. I wouldn’t have, you know, pulled people out," admitted Clooney. "You’re in a position of power and it’s tricky, right? You do have a responsibility for everybody else and he’s absolutely right about that. And, you know, if the production goes down, a lot of people lose their jobs. People have to understand that and have to be responsible. It’s just not my style to take everybody to task that way. 
 
Clooney though maintained that Cruise's reaction seem genuine but he was not aware of the exact details that transpired on the sets and hence would not give a judgement on it.&nbsp; 
 
"I think it doesn’t help necessarily to point to specific people in that way and do it that…but, you know, everybody has their own style. The people who were on that shoot will tell us more about it," Clooney said. "I understand why he did it. He’s not wrong at all about that. You know, I just, I don’t know that I would have done it quite that personally, but I don’t know all the circumstances so maybe he had it 10 or 15 times before."

The Flowbee cuts hair and sucks up the clippings at the same time, which has led to its use by astronauts on long-haul space missions in the past.

It retails for around $50, and the company that makes it saw sales spike at the beginning of the pandemic earlier this year, as hairdressing salons were forced to shut their doors and millions of people stayed home.

We need systemic change in our law enforcement and in our criminal justice system. ... This is our pandemic. It infects all of us, and in 400 years we`ve yet to find a vaccine." 
 
Clooney also took a dig at US President Donald Trump and write, "We need policymakers and politicians that reflect basic fairness to all of their citizens equally. Not leaders that stoke hatred and violence as if the idea of shooting looters could ever be anything less than a racial dog whistle," he said.

"So this week, as we`re wondering what it`s going to take to fix these seemingly insurmountable problems, just remember we created these issues so we can fix them. And there is only one way in this country to bring lasting change: Vote," concluded the star.

Hollywood star George Clooney has come forward to talk about child labour after coffee brand Nespresso, for which he is the brand ambassador was linked with the same at their farms.

According to Channel 4, news about the brand was uncovered as it was found that children were founding working on its coffee farms even though it claims that all its coffee was sourced ethically.

In a statement, George Clooney said that he was “surprised and saddened” to read the story. He said, “Having grown up working on a tobacco farm from the time I was 12 I’m uniquely aware of the complex issues regarding farming and child labor. That’s why I joined the Sustainability advisory board of Nespresso seven years ago along with the Rainforest Alliance, Fair Trade International, and the Fair Labour Association among many others with the goal then, as it remains to this day to improve the lives of farmers.”

Clooney added, “Clearly this board and this company still have work to do. And that work will be done. I would hope that this reporter will continue to investigate these conditions and report accurately if they do not improve.”

An Italian who allegedly posed as Hollywood superstar George Clooney to sell clothes online has been arrested with his wife in Thailand after years on the run, police said Sunday.

Francesco Galdelli, 58, and Vanja Goffi, 45, were arrested Saturday at a house on the outskirts Pattaya after operation between Thai and Italian authorities, officials said.

"During interrogation, Francesco confessed to claiming to be George Clooney and opening a clothes business to trick people into sending money," a statement from Thailand's Crime Suppression Division said.

The couple is also wanted in Italy for multiple scams including selling fake Rolex watches online, the statement said. They sometimes mocked their victims by sending packets of salt instead of the timepieces.

Their crimes led them to be dubbed the Italian 'Bonnie and Clyde' after the notorious American bank robbers of the Great Depression era.

Footage from a police drone showed the pair -- wanted on an Interpol red notice since 2013 -- carrying a bag as they were taken into custody.

They were nabbed after police surrounded their luxury compound in a stakeout using electronic surveillance and a drone, Italian police said in a statement.

The case against the pair stretches back several years after Clooney told a Milan court that the pair -- and another accomplice -- had fraudulently used his name to promote a fashion range.

Pattaya, the Thai town they were found holed up, is infamous as a hideout for gangsters and criminals from across the world.

"They stayed in Thailand since 2014 and never left," police said, adding a court will charge them under local immigration laws before extradition proceedings begin.

'I thought it was a fun way to tell this story. It`s hard to tell this story as complex as it is in a two-hour movie,' Clooney said at the series premiere in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening.

'It`s never been about the medium although television and streaming has gotten much more interesting and more fun, it was more about telling the story. It`s about telling good stories.'

Heller`s 1961 novel, previously adapted into a 1970 movie, follows U.S. bombardier Yossarian who is infuriated that the army keeps raising the number of missions he must fly to be released from duty.&nbsp;

Yossarian`s only way to avoid the missions is to declare insanity, but the only way to prove insanity is a willingness to embark on more of the highly dangerous bombing runs, thus creating the novel`s absurd `Catch-22.`

'The Sinner' actor Christopher Abbott stars as Yossarian while 'The Wolf of Wall Street' actor Kyle Chandler plays his commander, Colonel Cathcart.

Clooney portrays training commander Scheisskopf.

'It`s a heightened piece, it`s satirical, it`s dramatic, it`s harrowing, it`s very funny,' Abbott said.&nbsp;

'It kind of lives in a world on its own but I think the themes are kind of universal because they`re really just about the human condition.'

At the premiere, Clooney also talked about his friend and former actress Meghan Markle, who married Britain`s Prince Harry last year and gave birth to their first child on Monday.

Clooney, who attended the couple`s wedding last year, has previously criticised the media for harassing Meghan and said the arrival of their son would lead to increased media scrutiny.&nbsp;

'I think it`ll intensify it, of course. But it`s never about the media following you around because...if you`re a royal, that`s part of what you have to do,' he said&nbsp;

'It`s the other versions of it: going to interview people`s parents, that kind of stuff that it starts to step into a really dark place...It just, sort of, the press turned on them and...I think people should be a little kinder. She`s a young woman who just had a baby.'
