Indian batsman Cheteshwar Pujara, who was highly praised for his resolute batting in first-ever Test series win Down Under, was at the receiving end after he was labelled as a 'cheat'.
The incident happened during the Ranji final semi-final against Karnataka in Bengaluru when some cricket fans called him a cheater for escaping a few dismissals.
A video of the incident also went viral where a group of spectators can be heard calling shouting cheater while Pujara walks off the ground at the tea break.

Pujara scored an unbeaten 131 to help Saurashtra beat Karnataka by five wickets to set up a summit clash against Vidarbha, to be played from February 3.

Pujara's century went in vain as he didn't get due credit for the victory. He was given not out by the on-field umpire after he nicked a ball straight to the wicket-keeper Srinivas Sharath.
After getting a lifeline in the first innings, Pujara edged one behind in the second innings too when he was on 34. The umpire adjudged him not out.
