PM Modi praised the efforts of Rahul Dravid at a recent political rally in Karnataka.
The prime minister said, "Rahul Dravid has played an important role in the recent U-19 World Cup victory. He has taught us to be honest and to live for others."
Prime Minister Modi had earlier tweeted to congratulate the Indian U-19 team after they won the World Cup on Saturday.
The young guns of India played exceptionally well and clinched the trophy remaining unbeaten through the tournament.
Rahul Dravid the head coach of the U-19 teamhimself a commendable player had guided the Indian colts to victory.
