Kevin De Bruyne and Pep Guardiola say quadruple 'impossible' but Bernardo Silva disagrees

Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has agreed with manager Pep Guardiola insisting it will be "almost impossible" to win the quadruple. While his teammate Bernardo Silva believes they can do it after the club advanced to the FA Cup final on Saturday.

In a press conference, De Bruyne said, "It's nearly impossible. I don't think it's impossible to win every game."

"I think every game that we are going to play now we are going to be at a disadvantage physically and mentally," he added.

"Obviously we will have a game before the other teams. In the competition (Premier League) the team has a rest and in the Champions League it is the same so it's difficult," he concluded.

On the other hand, Bernardo Silva said, "I like to believe it's possible."

"We will try to prove him wrong, the manager, but of course it is difficult. No one has done it before but we want to try it," Silva added.

Pep Guardiola told journalists to write headlines about a quadruple being "almost impossible".

He said, "It is almost impossible to win the quadruple, almost. So put it in the headline guys: "almost impossible to win the quadruple". Surviving in that stage of all the competitions is already a miracle. Nice to be there."

"I think maybe for them it's better, but for us zero. I know that Liverpool are going to win all the games, what happened happened, so to become champions we need to win all the games," Pep added.
