
Suresh Raina will miss Chennai's next two matches as he suffered a calf injury during the last match against Kolkata on Tuesday.
The next two matches of Chennai is against Punjab and Rajasthan which are scheduled to take place on April 15 and April 20 respectively.
The official Twitter handle of Chennai team announced the news on Wednesday.
The left-hander suffered the injury while taking a single off Sunil Narine's bowling and limped off. He struggled to run and eventually lost his wicket. Though Chennai won the match as Ravindra Jadeja inspired the team to victory by hitting a six on the second last ball of the innings.
This is another blow to Chennai team as all-rounder Kedar Jadhav has already been ruled out of the tournament on Monday, due to a hamstring injury.
Faf du Plessis is still recovering from recovering from a slight side strain. Meanwhile, Murli Vijay can find his way back to the playing XI.
