Virat Kohli-led Bangalore take on Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai to ensure survival in the ongoing edition of IPL at Chinnaswamy stadium on Tuesday.

Both the teams are very popular in Indian Premier League and yet they are fighting for survival, this shows to what level the competition has reached. Both Mumbai and Bangalore have suffered the same fate in IPL 2018, they failed miserably in bowling and fielding departments.

Mumbai's Opener Surya Kumar has been tremendous while batting and he needs to pull off a good performance today as well to give a good start to the team. Also, batsmen like Rohit Sharma Evin Lewis and Hardik Pandya have to make required contributions.

Rohit had replaced Mustafizur Rahman with Ben Cutting in the previous encounter against Chennai that eventually Mumbai won. So in today's match as well, Ben Cutting is likely to play.

On the other hand, even Bangalore have massive batting strength as Quinton de Kock, Brendon McCullum, Virat Kohli are currently in form. Though AB de Villiers might not play today following health-related issues.

Playing at Chinnaswamy stadium, an intriguing match is expected and as it is a clash of survival, then a high voltage drama is expected.

Playing XI (TBC):

Bangalore: Quinton de Kock, Brendon McCullum, Virat Kohli, Manan Vohra, Mandeep Singh, Washington Sundar, Murugan Ashwin, Tim Southee, Umesh Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammed Siraj
