St Lucia
IND vs AUS weather update: India and Australia are all set to face each other in the Super 8 round of the T20 World Cup tournament on Monday (Jun 24). The match which is slated to take place at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium (earlier Beausejour Stadium) in St Lucia is expected to receive rain this evening, spoiling an exciting game.
As per reports, rain is expected at 10:00 am local time, which is half an hour before the IND-AUS match. "Overcast with occasional rain and thunderstorm," read the AccuWeather forecast for Monday in St Lucia. Weather conditions are also expected to be cloudy during the match hours, which can be a threat to the Super 8 game.

The start is likely to be delayed if St Lucia does receive heavy rainfall right before the match, and a delayed start could hamper an exciting Super 8 match of the T20 World Cup.
IND vs AUS weather update: Thunderstorms, rain loom large at Beausejour Stadium
The weather forecast predicts a 51 per cent chance of rain at 10:00 am local time. The rainfall chances float over 50 per cent for the next two hours before dropping down to 20 per cent. The hourly breakdown for the day further reveals that there are chances of heavy rainfall between 7 and 9 am local time, with the chances of precipitation being over 65 per cent.
This is a crucial match for Australia as it will decide their fate for the semifinal qualification. The Aussies need a win over India to stay afloat in the semifinal race. If Australia lose to India, and Afghanistan beat Bangladesh in their next match, then Australia will be eliminated and India and Afghanistan will eventually qualify for the semis.
IND vs AUS: What if rain washes out the IND-AUS match?
As the International Cricket Council (ICC) has not set any reserve day for Super 8 matches, both India and Australia will share a point each if the match at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, St Lucia is washed out due to rain.
A no result will automatically guarantee India a spot in the T20 World Cup semifinal for the second time in a row. However, Australia will have just three points from three games. Their only hope would be if Bangladesh beat Afghanistan or the Super 8 match in Kingstown is washed out as well.
