Golfer Akshay Bhatia, who was in the final group with Scottie and Kim, said: "I was scared for my life. I didn't even really know what was happening. All of a sudden, four, five people come running on the green ... I was in shock and my heart rate was high. It got low and then once that kind of happened I was just freaked out, I just tried to get over where everyone was. It was hard to do it, I think it was just weird."

After the removal of disruptors, Scottie Scheffler won the tournament - his sixth PGA Tour victory before July. He's only the second player after Arnold Palmer in 1962 to manage these many wins before July in a season.
Speaking to CBC after the win, Scheffler who had a heartbreak at the recently concluded U.S. Open, said: "It's pretty special. It's been a great season, I've been fortunate to come away with some wins and it's been a lot of fun. Tom, Tom played his heart out today. He's a great player, a great champion. It was fun battling with him today."
It is to be noted that Scheffler had finished at T41 in the U.S. Open - the third major of the year - in his worst finish in a competition since October 2022.
