Brazil will face Serbia at Moscow's Otkrytiye Arena on June 27 with a slim lead in Group E with four points, ahead of second-placed Switzerland on goal difference, while Serbia is in third place with three points and Costa Rica has been eliminated after earning zero points.
In spite of the fact that they are placed at number two in the Group E their progress in knockout stages is relying on the Switzerland and Costa Rica clash as well.
A win or draw for Brazil will guarantee their progress into the qualifying stages.
However, Serbia will qualify if they beat Brazil, but a draw could see them through if the Swiss are beaten by Costa Rica by more than one goal.
Serbia have six players on one yellow card, while Brazil have Casemiro, Neymar and Philippe Coutinho on yellows.
Tite said defender Joao Miranda will captain the squad in Wednesday's clash, during a press conference at Moscow's Spartak Stadium.
