THIS 'clearest' picture of Moon was captured by astrophotographer after four days of observation

Image of the Moon captured by astrophotographer Darya Kawa Mirza.

Kurdish astrophotographer Darya Kawa Mirza claimed to have clicked the clearest photo of the moon which revealed some unprecedented surface details of the natural satellite.

The image, which was captured after four days of continuous observation, showed the topography of the moon in stunning clarity and revealed never-ever-seen features.

The photograph was described by Mirza as the "clearest and sharpest Moon image" ever captured by him after four days of continuous observation and shooting.

"By merging 4 different moon phases and merging the shadow area, it reveals an interesting topography of the Lunar surface," said Mirza in his post.

'Clearest' moon picture garners multiple reactions on Reddit

After the image of the Moon was shared on social media, the users questioned if the colours in the image were representative of actual metals and minerals on the lunar surface.

"The saturation has been increased to highlight geological differences on the lunar surface. The reddish areas indicate high iron and feldspar content, while the blue-tinted zones have higher titanium content. Instead of viewing the colours as 'real' or 'fake,' it's more accurate to consider them as a tool that simulates what one might see with enhanced detection capabilities," wrote a user.

Another user said that people should think like "someone who is colour-blind". Certain colours, like red and green, are not visible to the colour-blind people.

In the same way, the colours in the Moon's photograph are real but the eyes are not sensitive enough to see them in their natural state.
