The company had been teasing its latest mid-ranger offering for several weeks via official Twitter handle and other social media platforms.
The Nubia N2 comes with a sleek metal unibody design carved out of aluminum which is said to be just 7.9mm thick. The Nubia N2 houses a 5,000 mAh battery with company’s Neo power tech. The company claims the smartphone can deliver 12 hours of web browsing, 60 hours of voice calls, 41.5 hours of music, 11 hours of video streaming or 8.4 hours of gaming with one time complete charge.
Nubia N2 Features and Specifications
The Nubia N2 sports a 5.1-inch HD (720p) AMOLED display with a 90 per cent color gamut. It is powered by an octa-core 64-bt MediaTek MT6750 SoC coupled with Mali T860GPU. The smartphone comes in only one storage variant and has 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage. It offers storage expansion up to 128GB via microSD card. The Nubia N2 smartphone has a fingerprint scanner on board and comes in two color variants – Black with accents of gold and Champagne Gold.
For the optics, the Nubia N2 has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, PDAF, hand-held image stabilization, 0.2 seconds capture time and f/2.2 aperture. The primary camera can shoot Full HD (1080p) videos at 30 frames per second. Up front, it has a 16-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling.
In terms of connectivity, it has dual-SIM support, 4G, VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPS, and GLONASS. On the software front, it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Nubia UI 4.0 custom OS. At Rs 15,999 price point, the Nubia N2 competes with likes of Nokia 6, Moto G5 Plus, Honor 6X, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Lenovo P2, Vivo Y66 and Asus Zenfone 3.
