After the Supreme Court's judgement on the administrative control of Delhi, Deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia has stated that the party will continue to fight for the complete statehood of Delhi.

He also said that the LG does not have the authority to dictate and that the work of the Delhi government was being obstructed.

Referring to the mandate of the 2015 assembly elections in Delhi where the AAP bagged 67 seats out of 70, the deputy CM further said, "67/3 was an important decision of the Delhi people, the honourable court today delivered another important judgement".

He also thanked the Supreme Court on behalf of the Delhi people saying that the honourable court has shown that the people are superior.

In its verdict over the administrative control of the national capital, the Supreme Court on Wednesday said that theLieutenant Governor of Delhi (L-G) does not have the authority to act independently and is bound to act on the advice of the ministers.

The ruling was given by Chief Justice of India (CJI) Dipak Misra during a hearing on the power tussle between the Delhi government and the Centre over the administrative control of Delhi.

CJI Misra also said in the judgement that Delhi does not have "powers of a full state", it is a "class apart".
