Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's honeymoon destination is ethereal

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are now reported to have left for their honeymoon.

According to media reports, the power couple has chosen a luxury heritage resort in Tuscany, Italy for their special vacation.

Borgo Finocchieto, one of the most exquisite luxury villas in the world, is touted for its breathtaking decor, elegant architecture and stunning views.

The resort is a thirty-minute drive from South of Siena, close to Montalcino in the Brunello, the wine growing district.

Borgo Finocchieto is also the second most expensive holiday rental in the world, with its price peaking especially in the month of December.

The resort was also the venue for the star couple's wedding that took place yesterday.

Cricket sensation Virat Kohli and Bollywood diva Anushka Sharma have been reported to have been seeing each other for over four years. Virushka, as lovingly called by their fans, tied the knot yesterday morning at an intimate ceremony in Tuscany, Italy.

The couple was decked up in ethereal, traditional garments created by celebrated designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.

The two are expected to leave for Rome, where they plan to have a short honeymoon and after which the couple will return to India.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma will host a grand wedding reception for their families and friendsin New Delhion December 21.

Another reception is likely to take place in Mumbai.
