
Robert Vadra today dismissed Vijay Mallya's comment after the ex-boss of Kingfisher Airlines said he was a "political victim"just like Congress chief Sonia Gandhi's son-in-lawand Himachal Pradesh chief minister Virbhadra Singh.
Vadra said that he "was a political victim", but never misused hisposition.
"Yet again, I came across in the news, where somebody or the other is using my name as crutches, for their personal benefits... This time, none other than Vijay Mallya citing my referencein the UK courts. I would like to remind Mallya, yes I am a political victim, but I never misused my position and have full faith in my country's judicial system...I never ran away with anyone's money from the country like him," Vadra said.
Vadra stated that Mallya should think of coming back to India and faceall the legal charges against him.
"My piece of advice to him is please return to India and face all pending legal matters and to clear his dues to the people owed, and last but not the least, please avoid using my name, I do not wish to be associated with you in any matter," Vadra said.
Vadra has been under the scanner for alleged land deals made in Haryana when the Congress was in power for 10 years.
According to reports, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) said that rather than talking about the case, Mallyatried to distract the officials by stating unsubstantiated reports by the media.
Mallya, who fled to the UK in March 2016, is wanted in India for financial irregularities involving a total amount of Rs 9,000 crore as well as money laundering.

The businessman appeared before the UK court on Monday where his trial was confirmed for eight days beginning from December 4.
The ED and the CBI have given the necessary documents to the court for his plea against deportation to show that Mallya allegedly duped banks using forged documentation.
In his defense, Mallya said all the money was used for lawful business activities.
