Rahul Gandhi said he is Aikido black belt, Congress shares pics as proof
“I do exercise, run and swim, and I am a black belt in Aikido, but [I] don’t speak about it publicly. Sports is very important to me and I spend at least an hour doing sports,” said Rahul Gandhi when asked why politicians did not take part in sports.
This happened at the Q&A session soon after Mr. Gandhi’s valedictory address at the annual meet of the PHD Chamber of Commerce. The Gandhi scion was responding to a question from professional boxer Vijender Singh.

The Congress vice-president also agreed to a suggestion that he should put short videos of these activities on his social media platforms.
On Tuesday Congress leader and social media & digital communications, AICC, Divya Spandana shared some pictures of the 47-year-old. In the pictures, Rahul Gandhi is seen in different Aikido positions with a Sensei, Paritos Kar.
Tuesday's tweet seems to address that comment if anyone ever doubted the Congress leader's prowess in the Japanese martial arts form.
