Arvind Kejriwal's wife Sunita Kejriwal has reacted to her husband's arrest by the Enforcement Directorate with a scathing social media post.
Taking to the microblogging siteX, Kejriwal's wife wrote, "Modiji got your thrice-elected Chief Minister arrested out of arrogance of power. He is trying to crush everyone. This is a betrayal of the people of Delhi. Your Chief Minister has always stood with you. Whether inside or outside, his life is dedicated to the country. The public knows everything"
Delhi High Court has already reserved an order pertaining to the remand of the Delhi CM, as was requested by ED officials. With the arrest of Kejriwal, there are talks on how the state government will function.

A former IRS officer, Sunita Kejriwal, is also reported to be a potential contender choice in case her husband chooses to resign from the chief ministerial position.
Kejriwal himself echoed his wife's sentiments at the Rouse Avenue Court and affirmed his unwavering commitment to the nation. "My life is dedicated to the country, whether I am inside or outside," he said.

He faced arrest after ignoring multiple summons from the ED. The timing of Kejriwal's arrest, just ahead of the elections, hasraised questionswithin the opposition parties.
Congress and INDIA bloc leaders condemned the arrest, alleging "vendetta politics" by the ruling BJP.
They also sought intervention from the Election Commission of India and decried the misuse of central agencies to target opposition figures.

Congress leader Abhishek Singhvi said, "Almost every opposition party is here. This incident happened late at night (arrest of Delhi CM). We had a detailed discussion with the election commission. This isn't about an individual or any party but it relates to the basic structure of the constitution. When a level playing field is needed for an election and you do not let the field be leveled by misusing agencies, it impacts free and fair elections and ultimately democracy," he said.
Kejriwal on March 22 appeared in court where the ED accused him of being a "key conspirator" in the liquor scam case. The authorities have requested his custody for 10 days.
