"The NDA government is giving special priority to the north-east. We are making efforts to furthering prosperity in the Northeast," PM Modi said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday disapproved the political instability experienced in Nagaland during last four years and said that the BJP-NDPP government will ensure the development of the state.
Addressing an election rally here, he also hoped that in "few months" an agreement and solution to the Naga political issue will be arrived at which will "respectable and acceptable" to the people of Nagaland.
The Prime minister added, “This will strengthen democracy. We are having parleys with different groups and organisations.”
"The NDA government is giving special priority to the north-east. We are making efforts to furthering prosperity in the Northeast," PM Modi said.
"Connectivity is a huge challenge in Nagaland. We are working relentlessly towards eliminating it. In less than 4 years, we have added 500 km of National Highways. We have also planned to invest more than Rs 10,000 crore in the roads of Nagaland," he added.
