Okinawa launched a new electric scooter in India called 'Praise' on Tuesday, at Rs. 59,889.
This is the company's second electric scooter launch after the 'Ridge' which came out in January.
Praise offers a top speed of 75kmph along with a best-in-class range of 170-200km on a single charge, making it the fastest two-wheeler segment in the country.
The electric scooter comes with a removable lithium-ion battery pack consisting of a 9kg battery which can be charged while being fitted in the scooter and separately as well.
The battery has a lifespan of 2,000 cycles which takes about 45 minutes to store 80% of energy.
It also comes with a BDLC motor which is water resistant and has modes like Economy (35kmph), Sporty (65kmph) and Turbo (75kmph).

The torque output of the motor ranges from 18Nm to 40Nm which ensures a quick acceleration.
The scooter also comes with additional features like LED lights, a fully-digital instrument console, flexible brake levers, dual gas charges rear shock-absorbers and telescopic front suspensions.
Also installed are some safety features like unique dual front disc brakes, single rear disc brake, E-ABS (Electronic - Assisted Braking System) and a side-stand safety sensor.
Praise also comes with a three-year replacement warranty.
