The clip of the attack, which was posted on Twitter by Telangana state’s IPS officer Swati Lakra, has gone viral. The people are praising the brave policeman. It has already got 108,300 views. The video has also been retweeted 840 times and has got 6,599 likes.

In the video, the man can be seen taking out the machete when a police patrol car stops at the side of the road near him. The man, who has been identified as Sugathan reportedly, tried to attack the cop unsuccessfully. He is a resident of Nooranad in Kerala reportedly. &nbsp;

Finally, Kumar snatched the weapon from Sugathan. The incident happened when the cop was on evening patrol with the driver at the Para Junction. &nbsp;

India wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik praised Rohit Sharma and said that a cricketing country like India needs one captain.

Rohit Sharma was recently appointed India's all-format captain after Virat Kohli decided to step down from his leadership role of the Test side.

Rohit's first assignment in the longest format as the skipper will come against Sri Lanka, in a two-match Test series, starting March 4.

"A cricketing country like India needs one captain," Karthik said.

"It is very easy to deal with one captain for all three formats. I remember MS Dhoni saying that split captaincy doesn't work in India that well. We haven't had that over a period of time, so we wouldn't know. But at this point in time when I do see it, I think he (Rohit) is the man. Every time he touched something, it's turned to gold. All the series he has been a part of, he has won convincingly," said Dinesh Karthik on ICC show, The ICC Review.

Karthik also praised the way Rohit has used India's bowlers and his handling of young players.

India have recently completed 3-0 series sweeps in T20Is against New Zealand, West Indies and Sri Lanka.

"He has shown a lot of tactical nous in the games that he has played. Moved the bowlers around really well, giving confidence to the batters and when they've won a series, giving opportunities to the young guys. Sometimes taking a backseat, batting in a position where obviously he has not batted there for a long time. So, he is doing a lot of things right."

Under Rohit's leadership, India has also integrated a few young players in the limited-overs formats. The likes of Deepak Hooda, Avesh Khan, Venkatesh Iyer and Ravi Bishnoi have all recently made their debuts for India.

"The good thing is, there have been 2-3 debutants in his captaincy and all have done well. And that doesn't happen always. It's great to see that happening and he is somebody who is a people's person. He understands failures well. So it is very nice that he is taking the team forward."

Okinawa launched a new electric scooter in India called &#39;Praise&#39; on Tuesday, at Rs. 59,889.&nbsp;

This is the company&#39;s second electric scooter launch after the &#39;Ridge&#39; which came out in January.

Praise offers a top speed of 75kmph along with a best-in-class range of 170-200km on a single charge, making it the fastest two-wheeler segment in the country.&nbsp;

The electric scooter comes with a removable lithium-ion battery pack consisting of a 9kg battery which can be charged while being fitted in the scooter and separately as well.&nbsp;

The battery has a lifespan of 2,000 cycles which takes about 45 minutes to store 80% of energy.&nbsp;

It also comes with a BDLC motor which is water resistant and has modes like Economy (35kmph), Sporty (65kmph) and Turbo (75kmph).&nbsp;

The torque output of the motor ranges from 18Nm to 40Nm which ensures a quick acceleration.

The scooter also comes with additional features like LED lights, a fully-digital instrument console, flexible brake levers, dual gas charges rear shock-absorbers and &nbsp;telescopic front suspensions.&nbsp;

Also installed are some safety features like unique dual front disc brakes, single rear disc brake, E-ABS (Electronic - Assisted Braking System) and a side-stand safety sensor.&nbsp;

Praise also comes with a three-year replacement warranty.&nbsp;
