The bail pleas of three accused in the Kamala Mills fire will be heard on January 31.

On January 25 bail applications of all five accused in Kamal Mills fire was rejected by Mumbai's Bhoiwada court.

Fice accused are Yug Tuli, Yug Pathak, Abhijit Mankar, Jigar Sanghvi and Kripesh Sanghvi.

Yug Pathak and Yug Tuli owned the "Mojo's Bistro" restaurant while Abhijit Mankar, Jigar Sanghvi and Kripesh Sanghvi were the owners of the "1 Above" restaurant.

The report after investigation claimed that the cause of the fire was due to the charcoal used for hookah.

Fire accident at the Kamala Mills Compound in Lower Parel area of Mumbai resulted in the deaths of 14 people on 28 December 2017.

Initial reports suggested the fire broke out in a rooftop restobar, 1Above, and rapidly spread to next door pub Mojo's Bistro, but a technical investigation report of the Mumbai Fire Brigade found the fire started at Mojo’s Bistro due to ‘flying embers’ from a hookah.
