Jairam Thakur will be sworn in as chief minister of Himachal Pradesh today.
The ceremony, to be held at the Ridge ground in Shimla, is expected to begin at11 am.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah will be attending, as will a number of other BJP leaders.

Former deputy prime minister LK Advani will also be attending.
The oath of office will be administered by Governor Aacharya Devvrat.
The names of Thakur's ministers are still to be finalised, news reports said.
The five-time BJP MLA from the hill state's Seraj constituency was chosen to lead the state after the BJP's original chief ministerial candidate Prem Kumar Dhumal failed to win in the recent elections.
The BJP ousted the Congress from Himachal Pradesh after winning 44 of the 68 seats in the recently-held Assembly polls.
