The comment wasof coursemade lightheartedly -- at a joint press statement by the two prime ministers -- but goes a long way towards showing how well the two leaders get along.

It is also not certain whether Netanyahu actually does yoga.

Modi on the other hand is known to be a practitioner. He has also led yoga demonstrations in Delhi on World Yoga Day.

Netanyahu also called Narendra Modi a revolutionary leader and praised Modi's visit to Israel last year, calling it "groundbreakingas it was the first time an Indian leader visited Israel."

India and Israel signed nine agreements on Monday including film cooperation, homoeopathy and alternative medicine.

Netanyahu arrived in India on Sunday on a six-day visit. He is scheduled to meet President Ram Nath Kovind later today.
