The fire,which broke out at Mumbai's famous RK Studio in Chembur on Saturday afternoon, has been doused, gutting half of the famous studio.
"The fire was controlled within two hours. Half of the portion of RK Studio gutted,"PG Duhal, Division Fire Officer on fire at RK Studio said.
Actor Rishi Kapoor wrote on Twitter that there were no casualties or injuries but that the iconic Stage 1 had been gutted in the fire.
Actor Anupam Kher also expressed his dismay on Twitter.
The fire broke out onthe sets of theTV show "Super Dancer".

There was no crew on the set, Saturday being a holiday.
PS Rahangdale, the chief of the Mumbai fire brigade, said an alert call was received by the department around 2.22 pm and fire fighters reached the spot within five minutes.
The fire wasconfined to electric wiring, electric installation, and decoration equipment in the100x80 sq ft area on the ground floor, he said.
Six fire tenders and five water tankers were rushed to the spot to douse the flames, a fire official said.
The cause will be ascertained after a proper inquiry, another official said earlier.
RK Studios was built by and named after the Bollywood actor Raj Kapoor. The legendary star, his siblings and sons -- including Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor -- made a number of films under the RK banner over the years.
Randhir Kapoor took charge of the studio after Raj Kapoor's death in 1988.
The films made under the RK banner include "Aag" (1948), "Barsaat" (1949), "Shree 420" (1955), "Mera Naam Joker" (1970), "Bobby" (1973), "Prem Rog" (1982), "Henna" (1991). The last one was "Aa Ab Laut Chalen" in 1999.
