Akshay Kumar who has recently found an interest in essaying roles with a social message is back to doing what he does best.
"PadMan", his upcoming movie released its official trailer and Akshay looks like an Indian superhero, one that we desperately wanted in our society.
The film that stars Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in equally important roles look promising as a story of social awakening told through the lens of humour.
Radhika plays Akshay’s wife and the inspiration behind all that he accomplished for women’s menstrual health while Sonam helps him do it all.
The movie is directed byR Balki and follows the story of national heroArunachalam Muruganantham-- the inventor of low-cost sanitary napkins for women in rural areas.
The movie is produced by Twinkle Khanna’s Mrs Funnybones Productions.
