On Vijay Diwas, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman paid tributes to soldiers who lost their lives in 1971 Indo-Pak war.
Defence Minister along with Army chief Gen Bipin Rawat, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Sunil Lanba and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa paid tributes at Amar Jawan Jyoti in Delhi on Saturday.
Vijay Diwas was also celebrated in Mumbai with Army officers and Jawans at Army Garrison Ground in Colabapaying tributes to soldiers who lost their lives in the battle.
