Cricket no longer possible with India: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar

Minister of External Affairs Subrahmanyam Jaishankar has ruled out the possibility India playing cricket with Pakistan. While referring to Islamabad's support to terrorism, Jaishankar said that New Delhi can't take a "tea break" even if Pakistan says "let us go and play cricket".
Speaking in New York at an event, Jaishankar said that the "dominating narrative of the relationship" between New Delhi and Islamabad "is terrorism, suicide bombings, violence", making it impossible to resume a normal relationship.
He highlighted the recent terror attacks in India at Uri, Pathankot, and Pulwama and said that "its a very hard narrative to sell to people... It's a democracy, sentiments do matter and one message [that] I don't want to give [is that] you do terrorism by night, and [then] it's business as usual during the day."
He added that "it is very difficult in real life to separate issues".
India has been focusing on the issue of counter-terrorism and requesting the world to speak about it in unison.
While slamming Islamabad, Jaishankar said, "You have terrorism in different parts of the world but there is no part where a country uses it consciously as a large scale industry against its neighbour".
