Emflux Motors plans to produce 199 units of the new electric superbike for the Indian market and 300 for the export market
Emflux Motorsunveiled India's first electronic bike, Emflux One, at the Auto Expo 2018 on Thursday which will be priced at Rs 6 lakh for the standard version and Rs 11 lakh for the higher-end model.
Emflux One will, however, be launched in March 2019. The superbike is powered with liquid cooling AC induction motor that is tuned to generate 84 Nm of torque at 8400 rpm. Reports have said that the bike will cover 0 to 100kmph run in just 3 seconds.
It will also come with high-quality Samsung SDi cells, which will ensure a range of 200kms in full charge, without compromising on acceleration and speed. It has a range of 200km and the company claims it is possible to charge it up to 80 per cent in just over half an hour.
The suspension set up consists of 43mm forks upfronts and a gas-charged monoshock at the rear. It also comes with Brembo-powered 300mm dual-disc brakes up front and a single 220mm disc brake at the rear.
The superbike includes a 6.8-inch TFT screen, a GPS navigation system, Bluetooth, WiFi, real-time vehicle diagnostics, and a mobile app for remote customisation and bike-to-bike connectivity.
