PM Narendra Modi met a series of world leaders in Manila on Tuesday morning on the second day of the ASEAN summit in Manila.
PM Modi kicked off the day meeting with Australian PM Malcolm Turnbull, later he held a bilateral meeting with Vietnam PM Nguy?n Xuân Phúc.
The Indian PM then met with Japan PM Shinzo Abe who had recently visited India. In a back-to-back meeting, he then met Sultan of Brunei Hassanal Bolkiah.
Modi then met New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern who was recently elected to office.
PM Modi had held bilateral meeting with US President Trump on Monday. During the meeting, PM Modi had thanked Trump who described him as a "friend".
Modi told Trump that "relationship between India and the US is not only of mutual interest. It goes beyond that."
Later, addressing the Indian community in Manila on Tuesday, the Indian prime minister had said ''if the 21st century is considered to be Asia's century, then it becomes our duty to make it India's century an I say it is possible''.
