The incident happened in the Qazigund district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The two terrorists killed have been identified as Furkan and Abu Mavia.
Furkan was a Pakistani terrorist who took over as Divisional commander of LeT after the elimination of Ismail.
Another security personnel suffered injuries in the encounter between Army and terrorists.
