MAJOR security breach! YouTube prankster infiltrates Manchester United bus

Manchester United's bus was infiltrated by a YouTube prankster

In what comes a major security breach, a YouTube prankster who had previously crashed the BAFTAs, managed to sneak past the security apparatus and into the Manchester United team bus, following their 4-0 defeat at Selhurst Park on Monday (May 6), according to a report in The Athletic.

The YouTuber, going by the moniker of Lizwani, was reportedly dressed in a United tracksuit as he entered the bus at Crystal Palace's home stadium.

Not only did Lizwani manage to sneak past the security guards but he also found a seat on the bus as Erik ten Hag's side prepared to head back to Manchester. He was only spotted afterwards by United's security guards and peacefully removed from the bus.

While the matter was resolved 'amicably', those involved in the matter have described it as a substantial security breach. The Premier League has sent a diktat to all 20 clubs, warning them to be on the lookout for repeats.

Meanwhile, Palace have launched an investigation. CCTV footage is being examined by the club officials, in an attempt to scrutinise the prankster's movements and ascertain how he was able to pull off the rather dangerous stunt.

United were outplayed in front of a vociferous Selhurst Park as Oliver Glasner's men toyed with the record Premier League champions. Ten Hag was left scratching his head as United looked shaky, ginger and too timid to take on the technically superior Palace players.

Notably, Lizwani made headlines in March when he sneaked onto the stage as the cast and crew of Oppenheimer received their BAFTA award for best film. He managed to stand alongside the likes of director Christopher Nolan, actor Cillian Murphy and producer Emma Thomas.

The YouTuber claimed that he remained at the BAFTAs for over an hour before the event security caught him. He was handed over to the police who made him delete the footage he had taken on the night.

“A social media prankster was removed by security last night after joining the winners of the final award on stage. We are taking this very seriously, and don’t wish to grant him any publicity by commenting further," a BAFTA spokesperson was quoted as saying by BBC a day later.
