It was a sorrowful exit in the Champions League for Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday (May 7) evening as they lost 2-0 on aggregate to Borussia Dortmund. The resultbrought to an endKylianMbappe’sdream of winning the Champions League with PSG as they exited at the last four stage. After the defeat, Mbappe opened up on the Champions League exit and took the blame. According to Mabppe, he tried his best to help his side win the tiebut it wasnot enough.

Needing to win the match in Paris, Mbappe and Co hit the frame of the goal on six occasions over180 minutes.Interestingly, PSG hit the poston four occasionsin the second legwhichleft them frustratedthroughout the evening.MatHummels’goal in the 50th minute was the final nail in the coffin for the hosts.
