However, the accolade bagged by <i>The Kerala Story </i>movie has sparked debate. The National Award jury member and filmmaker Pradeep Nair has questioned the win of the movie.&nbsp;</p>

<h2>What did the jury member Pradeep Nair say?</h2>

<p>As per a report of <i>Onmanorama</i>, Pradeep Nair, who is a part of an 11-member central panel for the feature film category, questioned the awards bagged by The Kerala Story. He stated, "As a Malayali on the panel, I raised serious objections. I questioned how a film that defames a state like Kerala and serves as propaganda could be considered for a national honour. I also conveyed my concerns directly to the jury chairperson".</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Also Read:</strong> <a href="https://www.wionews.com/entertainment/hollywood/iconic-rock-band-smashing-pumpkins-to-debut-in-india-check-concert-dates-venue-and-tickets-1754117853223"><strong>Smashing Pumpkins to debut in India; check concert dates, venue and tickets</strong></a></p>

<p>He further stated, "However, I was the only one who labelled it as propaganda. Others argued that even if it was controversial, it tackled a relevant social issue". According to him, <i>The Kerala Story</i> was chosen for its relevance in addressing what the jury saw as a major social issue in India.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Also Read: </strong><a href="https://www.wionews.com/entertainment/lifestyle/syndey-sweeney-gets-support-from-american-eagle-after-facing-criticism-jeans-ad-1754118954551"><strong>Syndey Sweeney gets support from American Eagle after facing criticism for ad</strong></a></p>

<p>While Blessy's Aadujeevitham (The Goat Life) starring Prithviraj Sukumaran was reportedly submitted for several awards, it failed to secure any wins. Reportedly, when asked about this, Pradeep Nair revealed that the Jury Chairperson, Ashutosh Gowariker, wasn't entirely convinced.</p>

<h2>Scorpion confirmed, but what about Boomerang and Tombstone?</h2><p>The rumours were confirmed by <i>The Hollywood Reporter</i>, as <i>Spider-Man: Brand New Day</i> kicks off its first filming schedule in London. <p>Sex and the City spin-off, And Just Like That, is ending after three seasons, the makers of the show have announced. Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha Jones in the original series, has dropped a post which her fans think is a reaction to the franchise finally ending 27 years after its first episode aired. Cattrall posted a photo of the ocean with a sunset on the horizon after Sarah Jessica Parker and Michael Patrick King announced that And Just Like That is wrapping up. "It’s the end of a very long week," the actress wrote. Cattrall was the only one of the four actors who did not return to the spin-off. Sarah Jessica Parker reprised her iconic role of Carrie Bradshaw, Kristin Davis played Charlotte, and Cynthia Nixon returned as Miranda on the show. Sex and the City ran from 1998 to 2004. The franchise also had two films - Sex and the City in 2008 and Sex and the City 2 in 2010. The first season of And Just Like That aired on December 9, 2021. Kim Cattrall famously had a falling out with the other three actors on the original show. She has publicly talked about how Sarah Jessica Parker shunned her when she asked for a hike in her fees. The other two actors followed and did not approach Kim between shots. However, Sarah has refuted her claims, saying she does not remember things between them as bad on the sets.<br>&nbsp;</p>

<p><br>Cattrall made a short appearance in the second season of the show, albeit from London. In the very first episode of And Just Like That, Sarah Jessica Parker's character, Carrie Bradshaw, stated that Samantha was dead to them, a line which did not go down well with Samantha Jones's fans. The show had woke culture at its height and was panned by viewers not only for this, but several other things Carrie and the gang did and said on the show.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Reacting to the news of the show ending, 60-year-old Sarah wrote on Instagram, "Carrie Bradshaw has dominated my professional heartbeat for 27 years. I think I have loved her most of all." Davis also took to social media and wrote, "I am profoundly sad. I love our whole beautiful cast and crew. 400 artisans working hard on our show with deep love." Nixon's reaction to the show wrapping up was one of disbelief. "It has been such a delight from start to finish. I will miss working with these people every day SO incredibly much, but know we will always be a part of each other’s lives."</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Meanwhile, King insisted that the show was not cancelled by HBO. Instead, it seemed like the perfect place to end it. “And just like that… the ongoing storytelling of the’ Sex And The City’ universe is coming to an end,” he said. “While I was writing the last episode of ‘And Just Like That…’ season 3, it became clear to me that this might be a wonderful place to stop.” The show will end with a two-part finale.</p>

And Just Like That ends: Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha Jones, the most charismatic character on Sex And The City, has seemingly reacted to the news of And Just Like That wrapping up. She did not return to the spin-off because of her bad relations with Sarah Jessica Parker.

Sex and the City spin-off, And Just Like That, is ending after three seasons, the makers of the show have announced. However, Sarah has refuted her claims, saying she does not remember things between them as bad on the sets.

Kim Cattrall, aka Samantha Jones, drops cryptic post as And Just Like That comes to an end

<p>Shah Rukh Khan shared a heartfelt message of gratitude on Friday night as he won his first National Award. The actor appeared in a video, wearing an arm sling and nursing an injured hand, dressed in an all black attire and grey-white beanie and expressed gratitude to the government, the jury, and his legion of fans for winning the National Award for his 2023 film Jawan directed by Atlee. &nbsp; This award is SRK's first National Award in a career spanning over 33 years.&nbsp;</p><p><br>Sharing the gratitude video on his official social media handle, Shah Rukh Khan captioned it with emotion and signature charm:</p><p><br>"Thank you for honouring me with the National Award. Needless to say, I'm overwhelmed with gratitude, pride, and humility to be honored with the National award that I'll cherish for a lifetime. Thank you so much to the jury, the chairman, the I&amp;B ministry and everyone who thought I was worthy of this one. I would like to thank all of my directors and writers, especially for the year 2023. So, thank you Raju sir, thank you Sid and especially, thank you Atlee sir and his team for giving me the opportunity in Jawan."</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The actor further added, "I want to thank my team and management which works tirelessly with me. They bear with my eccentricities and impatience and give me their full attention and make me look much better than I am. This award, without the perseverance and love, would not be possible at all. Thank you so much for everything you do. My wife and kids, who over the last few years gave me so much more love and care as if I am the kid in the house and want only the best for me. They know my obsession with cinema takes me away from them but they all bear it with a smile and allow me the time. So, thank you so much for that.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h2>'The National Award is a reminder'</h2><p>The Pathaan actor went on to add, "The national award is not just about achievement; it's a reminder that what I do matters. It tells me to keep going, keep working hard, keep creating, and keep serving cinema."</p><p><br>It’s a monumental moment not just for SRK, but for millions who have grown up watching him rule the screen. Shah Rukh Khan shared a warm message by appearing in a video as he won his career's first National Film Award for the film Jawan. Khan expressed thanks to the government, to Atlee, his family and team and his fans.

Shah Rukh Khan shared a heartfelt message of gratitude on Friday night as he won his first National Award. The actor appeared in a video, wearing an arm sling and nursing an injured hand, dressed in an all black attire and grey-white beanie and expressed gratitude to the government, the jury, and his legion of fans for winning the National Award for his 2023 film Jawan directed by Atlee. This award is SRK's first National Award in a career spanning over 33 years. Sharing the gratitude video on his official social media handle, Shah Rukh Khan captioned it with emotion and signature charm: "Thank you for honouring me with the National Award. Thanks to the jury, the I&B ministry… Iss samman ke liye Bharat Sarkar ka dhanyawaad. Overwhelmed with the love showered upon me. Half a hug to everyone today…" Shah Rukh Khan reacts after winning National Film Award He said, "Namaskaar and adaab. Needless to say, I'm overwhelmed with gratitude, pride, and humility to be honored with the National award that I'll cherish for a lifetime. Thank you so much to the jury, the chairman, the I&B ministry and everyone who thought I was worthy of this one. I would like to thank all of my directors and writers, especially for the year 2023. So, thank you Raju sir, thank you Sid and especially, thank you Atlee sir and his team for giving me the opportunity in Jawan." The actor further added, "I want to thank my team and management which works tirelessly with me. So, thank you so much for that. 'The National Award is a reminder' The Pathaan actor went on to add, "The national award is not just about achievement; it's a reminder that what I do matters. It tells me to keep going, keep working hard, keep creating, and keep serving cinema." It’s a monumental moment not just for SRK, but for millions who have grown up watching him rule the screen. This National Award comes at a significant time in Khan’s career, after a triumphant return with a string of successful films in 2023 which not only redefined his image but also brought back audiences to theatres in 2023 and 2024.
