Unlike modern diamonds, the old ones were cut by hand. Often called an old mine cut, this diamond cut was popular from the early 1700s to the late 1800s. They originated in India’s and Brazil’s historic diamond mines during the 1700s. Back then, the old mines were the primary sources of diamonds. India’s Golconda mines, in present-day Andhra Pradesh, were the first major source of diamonds for centuries. Historic gems like the Koh-i-Noor and the Hope Diamond came from this region. After India, Brazil became the diamond hub.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The cut became especially popular in the Victorian era.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h2>Why is the diamond so unique?</h2><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The diamonds are hand-cut, meaning that each stone is cut by hand, using no machines. So no two diamonds are the same. This means that there is no ring like Taylor’s in the entire world. Wow!</p>

Neha Dhupia is bringing in her birthday with grandeur and romance, as she jets off to Rome and Florence with Angad Bedi. The couple, who tied the knot in 2018, are making this trip even more special by calling it their “first honeymoon” after eight years of marriage. Despite being one of Bollywood’s most adored couples, Neha and Angad never really got the chance to go on an official honeymoon post their wedding. Between professional commitments and raising their two beautiful children, their schedules never allowed a proper getaway. But this year, Neha decided to make her birthday extra memorable by choosing Florence, her favorite holiday destination, for a celebration filled with love, laughter, and togetherness. Speaking about the getaway, Neha shared, “We’ve gone official on our first honeymoon with Angad after 8 years of marriage. For this birthday, I’m manifesting good health, success, and precious family time. Career-wise, I’m looking forward to the coming year, which is going to be a busy one.” Known for her candid personality, Neha never shies away from speaking her heart, and this celebration truly reflects her mantra of living life to the fullest. With Florence’s timeless charm as their backdrop, the couple is spending quality time together while indulging in the beauty, history, and romance of the city. With love in the air and places like Rome and Florence as the stage, Neha Dhupia’s birthday this year promises to be as iconic and heartfelt as the actress herself.

<p>While the actor couple has been married for 8 long years, work commitments and raising their two children have kept them away from going on a honeymoon.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Donald Trump has made a surprise U-turn on Taylor Swift, calling her a "terrific person" after months of bashing the singer over her support for Kamala Harris in the 2024 election. The US president once declared, "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!" on Truth Social and has repeatedly mocked her in rants since. Just weeks ago, he even claimed credit for what he claimed was a drop in her popularity, bragging that she had been "booed out of the Super Bowl." However, on Tuesday (Aug 28), when Swift announced her engagement to NFL star Travis Kelce, Trump struck a strikingly different tone.</p><h2><strong>What did Trump say about Taylor Swift</strong></h2><p>Asked during a cabinet meeting about what one reporter called the "biggest pop culture news of the year," Trump surprised even Vice President JD Vance, who looked braced for another tirade and said, "Well I wish them a lot of luck". He added that he thinks "he's a great player and he's a great guy and I think that she's a terrific person...So I wish them a lot of luck." The comments drew confused laughter from those in the room.</p><p>Swift revealed her engagement in an Instagram post on Tuesday with the caption: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” alongside photos of Kelce proposing.</p><p><strong>Also read | </strong><a href="https://www.wionews.com/photos/taylor-swift-and-travis-kelce-engaged-every-picture-from-their-romantic-proposal-1756233289947"><strong>Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce engaged - every picture from their romantic proposal</strong></a></p><h2><strong>Trump changes tune on Swift?</strong></h2><p>The latest statement is a sharp reversal for Trump, who earlier gloated that his attacks had made megastar Taylor Swift "no longer hot." In a signature bizarre rant on Truth Social, 79-year-old Trump, at the time wrote, "Ever since I alerted the world as to what she was by saying on TRUTH that I can’t stand her (HATE!). She was booed out of the Super Bowl and became, NO LONGER HOT."</p>

<p>Still, it must be acknowledged that this isn't the first time the 79-year-old has shown flashes of goodwill toward the couple. When Swift and Kelce first went public in September 2023, Trump told the Daily Caller he hoped "they enjoy their life," ending the nice comment with a snide remark, "maybe not—most likely not."</p><p><strong>Also read | </strong><a href="https://www.wionews.com/trending/-satanic-trump-white-house-portrait-sets-internet-on-fire-netizens-call-it-his-most-honest-image-yet-compare-potus-to-hitler-1755752441076"><strong>‘Satanic’ Trump White House portrait sets internet on fire—netizens call it his most honest image yet, compare POTUS to Hitler</strong></a></p><p>The ‘HATE’ against Swift wasn't limited to Trump. His then right-hand man, Elon Musk, had also courted disgust by taking a cheap shot at Swift for endorsing Harris for US President. In September 2024, when Swift in a post on her official Instagram account, said that she would be voting for Harris in the US presidential elections, Musk took to his social media platform X and said, "Fine Taylor... you win... What's going on between Donald Trump and Taylor Swift? The US President has a history of trashing the singer and declaring his 'HATE" for her. So why is he now calling her a "terrific person" and wishing her and her fiancé Travis Kelce "a lot of luck"? Scroll on to find out.

Donald Trump has made a surprise U-turn on Taylor Swift, calling her a "terrific person" after months of bashing the singer over her support for Kamala Harris in the 2024 election. The US president once declared, "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!" on Truth Social and has repeatedly mocked her in rants since. Just weeks ago, he even claimed credit for what he claimed was a drop in her popularity, bragging that she had been "booed out of the Super Bowl." However, on Tuesday (Aug 28), when Swift announced her engagement to NFL star Travis Kelce, Trump struck a strikingly different tone. What did Trump say about Taylor Swift Asked during a cabinet meeting about what one reporter called the "biggest pop culture news of the year," Trump surprised even Vice President JD Vance, who looked braced for another tirade and said, "Well I wish them a lot of luck". He added that he thinks "he's a great player and he's a great guy and I think that she's a terrific person...So I wish them a lot of luck." The comments drew confused laughter from those in the room. Swift revealed her engagement in an Instagram post on Tuesday with the caption: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” alongside photos of Kelce proposing. She was booed out of the Super Bowl and became, NO LONGER HOT."
