'You know better': Jennifer Lopez firmly shuts down reporter's question on her divorce with Ben Affleck

Divorce rumours between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are rife. With Ben and Jen continuing to stay silent, It's still unknown what exactly happening in Bennifer's paradise. Amid all of this, the couple is focusing on their work, and recently Jennifer attended a press show for her upcoming movie Atlas, where she had a weird encounter with a reporter who asked the singer about the speculations around her divorce.

With the team of the movie Atlas, the actress was in Mexico City on May22 to promote her next film.

During the media interaction, one reporter directed asked the status of her relationship with the Batman star.

"Is your divorce with Ben Affleck real? These rumors?" the reporter said, sending shockwaves around the entire room.

"What is the truth? Para le press le Mexicana [for the Mexican press], what is the truth of the situation?" he said.

Lopez's co-star Simu Liu tried to end the conversation as JLo remained silent.

"Okay we're not doing that. Thank you so much guys, we really appreciate it. Thank you," Liu said.

After a few minutes of silence, Jennifer firmly reacted to the question, saying, "You know better than that."

Amid multiple separation reports, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were spotted together on a car ride in Los Angeles. Things seemed perfect between the couple as they both sat in a car together and smiled at the shutterbugs.

Last week, Ben was spotted without his wedding band, which led many of their fans into a curious state.

Earlier, it was reported that Affleck had moved out of their $60 million Beverly Hills mansion that the couple bought together.

According to a report by In Touch Weekly, a source has revealed, "The writing is on the wall—it’s over… They’re headed for a divorce—and for once, (Ben’s) not to blame!”

Lopez and Affleck's relationship has been one of the most discussed love affairs in Hollywood.

The couple first met in 2001 on the set of Gigli. After two years of dating and getting engaged, the couple parted away in 2004.

After almost two decades, the couple rekindled their romance in 2021 and got engaged in April 2022. The same year, the couple got hitched in Las Vegas.
